Stacey Pilgrim candidate for Trench ward

I have lived in Trench ward for 48 years. It’s simply home, and I care about our local environment and the residents. In 2019 I stood as an Independent candidate because I was disgusted at the heavily conservative dominated council and the impact this was having on our town.

I have predominantly worked in the waste management industry since leaving school. I have worked on landfill sites disposing of waste, and running the refuse, street cleaning and recycling for the contractors for St Albans city council. I am a member of the Institute of Waste Management and the Institute of Quarrying, and have a diploma in Quarry Management. I currently work for a country estate where I am the Assistant Manager of the quarry. I care a great deal about what’s happening in and around Trench ward and truly believe that the Green Party is the only party that will stand up for all its residents. The 2023 local elections could be a turning point in local representation for Trench ward and I hope that will be the Green Party councillor.
