Louis Westlake

I’ve lived in Kings Hill for 14 years, or most of my life, and I’ve seen how much it has changed to a point where it is no longer recognisable as the place I moved to. I know Kings Hill. I am a Governor at the Discovery School, the same school I was educated in, I have run for council before and I have heard from so many in our community about what Kings Hill is and how we can preserve it. I am thankful for our new neighbours and that Kings Hill remains an amazing place to raise a family, but at some point something has to give. Most of our natural woodland has been torn down and replaced with buildings over the last decade, and the last vestiges of natural beauty such as in Broadwater Farm and the forest behind Clearheart Lane are being earmarked for construction next. Inaction by our incumbent Conservative Councillors will not be the solution to this, the solution will be to have local voices like myself who hear your concerns and know far too well the danger we are in if we don’t act.
